Living Hope Suicide Bereavement Training Programme (Certificate)

This Training Programme is brought to you through a Partnership between the Salvation Army in Australia and Console in Ireland. 

This Programme will give Bereavement Care Workers, Counsellors, Health Professionals, Clergy, Guidance Counsellors, Emergency Services Personnel, Schools & Colleges Staff and Local Communiites the skills and confidence to provide Support to people Bereaved through Suicide.

The Programme is an On-Line, E-Learning programme. The Course Fee is €160 and a Certificate will be Awarded to those who successfully complete this On-Line Six Module Course.

The Training will also be available as a 3 Day Face-to Face Course ( details to be confirmed at a later date ).

At the Core of this Programme is HOPE.

By completeing this Training and applying the skills and knowledge you learn you are giving;

* Hope to those Bereaved through Suicide

* Hope to family and friends affected that there is a fulfilling future in front of them

* Hope for a better Community response services to Suicide and Suicide Bereavement.

The Programme:

To lose a loved one suddenly is traumatic, to lose them through Suicide is even more traumatic, with the Survivor left to wonder, rage, grieve and cope.

We hope that the skills and knowledge you learn in this Programme will not only equip you better to help those who need it most, but also give you confidence, greater compassion and increased undersatnding of Suicide and the devastating impact it has on the lives of those it touches.
